The $3 Million Candy
posted on 6.27.2009 by Leah

I was looking at some yummy looking candies on the net when I stumbled upon this interesting news. Someone actually bought a candy for $3M. Well, i was hoping it was a real giant candy... (hehe!) but it's actually this sweet sounding domain. Candy.com was sold to a U.S. candy maker for a jaw dropping 3 Million dollars. For comparison, mine was bought for $11. The Candy.com sale was considered by many resellers to be a 'massive deal' for a domain name.

By the way, Candy.com is looking for a slogan for its official launch this July. The winner will be given boxes of lollipops with an interesting shape - the winner's face! (Well, I sure would like the lollipops but I'm not sure with the face!) Wanna join?

Here in my blog I share my music and my life. I’m a candy addict and a chocolate lover. To me, unwrapping my favorite bar is as exciting as picking a song, hitting the high notes, and singing out loud! Thank God ‘coz there's always a song that I can remember life's sweet moments by.
