My New Project posted on 6.28.2009 by Leah I've always loved the thought of making my own accessories and jewelries. It's been months since Nanay (Ting's mom ) and I planned on doing this project! I've been an accessory geek since I became part of S4J (By the way, our album is still available in case you want to get a copy ). I used to spend half of my salary just to buy all sorts of accesories. Today I bought beads and findings (e.g. earring wires, locks, etc.) at St. Francis Square, Ortigas and the people there were really nice to assist me and even teach me how to make accessories! It's nice coz I found out they were Christians too! The sales ladies there, Ate Myrna and Ate Luisa reminded me how we should show Christian love to everyone. I asked the right people coz they were the only one there who had raw materials for bead making. I also found hard-to-find beading magazines nearby: Beadstyle Mag and The Beader's Handbook. Yay! I'm so happy! Can't wait to mess up my room and get creative with my new found hobby. *P.S. I don't know why, but I seem to have a liking for bean-looking stuff. hehe! comments: name: email:
